Found this old photo of my corner tank and thought I'd share. This is from 1988.

LOL! I don't think I ever had cyno. Bit of diatoms though.

I have redone the top and stand twice since then, and after 6 or 7 moves and 18 years of use, it has some scratches, but I still like this tank. I need to break it down and give it a good polishing.

I think I paid $20 for all the rock, and the clowns were 2 for $10.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly!! How about some recent shots? A 20 year old tank, I'm sure that tanks seen quite a few changes over the years..... Very cool.

Thanks, Paul! Now your asking me to embarrass myself!

Anyway, thanks to my "Rich Uncle Sam" and the U.S. Navy, I had to break it down every 3 - 4 years, so it was a new setup every move.

This was the tank in July 2002 after I retired from the good ol' USN and moved to my present home. I was going to go for fish only but where's the fish!?

Sorry for the crappy photo, the only one I could find was a Polaroid.

I really didn't like the green paint, and I decided I wanted to go in a different direction, so I broke it back down, and discovered that it would be easier to build a new stand/top then strip that paint off!

Here it is in it's current incarnation. It's been set up for 9 months, and used to have a lot more stuff in it, but...... I bought my 72 bow in January and a lot of stuff got moved over. Now, it's mostly a half way house for new fish and corals.

You know your tank looks good for a "half way house", but I have to say it before anyone else does :) Doughnut :)

BTW, I am so jealous of anyone who has more than one tank.

:frog: I have 2! Neener, Neener, Neener! Just teasing Paul! Besides, you probably get to look at your 1 tank more than I get looking at my two. :(

And Dwight! Nice tank. It's cool to see the changes to the tanks (inside and out) that happen over a period of time.

That's "Mickey Mouse" rock to you!! LOL! My wife really likes it, and it has so much life on it, so I just leave it.

I should have said this is my "aptasia removal tank" 'cause the peppermint that is in here tears it up!

Three tanks huh  Now that is just rubbing salt in the wounds!

LOL! I wouldn't count the 5 gallon, all it has is a couple pieces of pvc, some sand, and a hang on filter. Not exactly a reef tank!
