Older Gyre 150 Mount Spacer?

Bought a older gyre 150 without knowing the mounts put the cord too close to the glass and interferes with the magnets holding securely shown on the right side here. I see some rubber suction cup foot mounts for sale but dont appear to be very thick to provide spacing. Wondering if these work or will I need to do something different?

Thanks !

It must be one of the very first 150s. The later ones have a rubberized suspension mount on them that does put them a little further away form the glass than what's in your picture. (The suction cup mounts you are seeing are a little different.) If you go to Coralvue's site, look for the Gyre silent suspension magnet mount. AFAIK, you won't need to replace the dry side magnet.

mine definetly doesnt have the feet to mount the rubber tabs to shown here and I dont see a silent mount for the earlier generations. Looks like a standff of rubber vbout an 1/8th inch or more would do the trick and hoping someone has already solved this.

oh wait, are you saying one of those silent mounts replaces any of the earlier gyre mounts and just slides on in place of the old one ? Still hoping for ideas on something to put between the magnets.

Mystery solved, nice folks at coralvue got me straightened out... just need one of those new style mounts for the pump. Thanks too, GimpyFin.

Cool, yes the new style rubberized mounts replaced the ones on the early models. Glad they got you squared away.
