omoslator distance from sump and water resevor?

I'm debating on getting an osmolator for my water tap off but is not sure if it will work for me. I have my RO water in a 40G trash can that is 30-40 feet away from the tank's sump. Will the osmolator work for me at this distance?

It would be safest to use a smaller reservoir under the tank. The stock pump won't work well over this distance, you could use the 3150.110 switched socket and connect a larger pump but consider the reservoir volume as the final safety to the system. It would be ideal to have a 7-10 gallon reservoir under the tank that you refill as needed from the larger reservoir.
