When I was in the shoe business, TN was in my territory, and Nashville was one of my wife's most favorite places to come meet me on weekends before buy meetings. That is why we are coming down to the swap-as a mini vacation as well as to meet new people.

I use to stay at the Hilton or Hyatt?? downtown. I plan on booking a room close to downtown, just because that is where she likes to go. Can someone PM me the directions for the actual frag swap meeting place, coming from STL MO. If not can you post the actual address so I can mapquest it? Is it far from downtown?
I look forward to meeting all of you TN reefers!

Is everyone getting together after the meet for some ice cold drinks? If so, is there a meeting place?
TIA

I like the idea of a "post swap" watering hole get together too. Someone local have any recommendations?

Any watering hole will do-as long as they are cold! We are really looking forward to it! good luck and happy reefing!

Whoo hoo!!! :D  and Frags in one day... Don't think I can contain my excitement... :lolspin:

Yeah, the Rivergate Mall is right there (less than a mile), so there is alot of stuff around. Bailey's is a sports bar with pool, etc. Right around the corner.

Coming from St. Louis (this is a slightly longer way around, but takes you all interstate), come I 24 East toward Chattanooga. Somewhere past exit 41 (Old Hickory Boulevard), you'll run into the I-65 N exit toward Louisville. It is no more than three miles from exit 41. If you miss it, you'll be running through the downtown area within a few miles. Follow I65 N to exit 96 and follow the directions from the poster (left on Moss Trail, left on Pleasant Green-360 pleasant Green Rd., Goodlettsville, Tn.).

Great!!! I'll bring my swim trunks... :D JK... They've got a Baileys in Knoxville... We'd go there to watch games, throw darts, drink beer and whatnot...

If you're a beer snob (like me) and/or are staying around downtown, you might want to hit up the Flying Saucer (more upscale... sit around, drink, and talk kind of place) or the Beer Sellar (more dressed down...pool, darts, jukebox). Both have a phenomenal selection of beer (~50 on tap and even more in bottles). These might not be best for a post swap watering hole because they are probably 20 minutes from the swap venue, but just thought I'd throw it out.
