? on tissue recession

So a number of my SPS have 'burnt tips'. No alk swings, I have been testing every other day and the alk stays around 7.5. It looks like things have settled down. My question is, should I clip the tips where the tissue receded, or just them be. Thanks for the help.

I would clip them only if algae starts to grow on them. I would also get the alk to 9.0 but do it slowly.

Yeah, some have algae growing them.
