One awesome sight

Not sure if any of you have ever seen a clam spawning in a tank but I can tell you now, it makes for one hell of a mess...

Especially when the clam is as big as a soccer ball and it spawns for several hours on end.

I got some good videos of it though

They were really nice. We had 2 identical ones over Christmas week but my fav was the powder blue one. I have a shot of it but I should have taken more because it didn't come out that great. I've been loading a few cool shots inmy photobucket if you're interested.

Wayne, are there any good lfs right off 95 in Richmond?

Atlantis Aquariums is about 12 miles from 95, Fish World and Richmond Aquarium are only 3 or 4 miles apart from each other and they are probably 15 miles from 95. Someone posted the websites on the RRC forum for you. Richmond Aquarium has a huge 2,000g display FOWLR and a good selection of livestock sometimes. Fish World has a 1,200g display that is sick and definately worth checking out so RA is in route to FW so it's worth the stop. Atlantis is the deltec spot with sweet set-ups(600+g deltec display),livestock and great staff. Worth the trip also. I'm about 23 miles from 95 at Kings Dominion if you have time to swing by and say hi. My kids(Eric 6 and Nikki 4) will keep your kids company

If you get a chance, you could hit www.Roozens.com which is only 3 miles off 95 in Maryland. Huge selection of livestock and equipment.

Wayne, I appreciate it. I really would like to, but my wife gets upset enough when I say I am going over to a fishfriends house and come back three hours later when we are at home. Squeezing that into a 10 hour trip would push her over the edge.
