I am planning a 240 g tank and need to decide on two overflows towards the corners or one large center over flow in the center with two drains inside of it. Tank dimmensions are 96"x24"x25". Anybody have any ideas on which may be better?

Depends on the viewing angle. If you're planning on viewing all 4 sides, a center overflow is great.

You could always do - 2 "center" overflows spaced out about 3 feet.

I guess I should re-define "center". The overflows will be along the back wall an the tank will only be viewable from three sides. Thanks Jamesurq for pointing that out! So I was thinking of one oversized over flow along the center of the back wall or two overflows towards the corners on the back wall as well.

Do not wish for acrylic. Glass is alot easier in my opinion. You should be fine. I have an external overflow on the whole right side of my 360gl. So I have front back and one side for viewing.
