Was wanting to get a clownfish, how do they generally do, by themselves? I know almost everyone keeps them in pairs. Whats the downsize of just one?

I had a nice Picasso by herself after the male died early on. It was the most relaxed clownfish I've had.

I was planning on just getting one True Perc.
Anyone see any problems with this?
The tank size also would probably determine the aggression of a pair. IF they pair up their are 2 of them and both will fight for territory together. With a anemone i would think it would reduce fighting but not garantee. I have a 30 gal FOWLR tank and the tomato clown i have it surprisingly quite dosile. It is not being bullied when it is around or in the anemone but when it leaves suprizinly the lawnmower blenny actually bites the fish. The tank size is what determins the agression if i had a 55 set up i would love to pair. It all boils down for the most part the aquarium size and the amount of sight brakes.

My female snowflake recently went carpet surfing so I only have one atm myself. He seems fine,acting normal. Female has been gone a couple months. I might try to pair him up again but he doesnt seem to notice hes the only one. I have a RBTA in the tank but neither one ever went near it.
I also have 2 tank raised percs in my nano that came with the tank. They were never with a nem and when I got one for them they went to it in about a day.

Haha yeah and after reading/researching more I found out that they really are completely fine by themselves.
I went to my LFS yesterday and they had some really nice True Percs. So I got one.
So now that I only have one. Any idea whether it will end up being male/female?
It will end up being a female. My misbar perc was alone for about 7 years. I put one of my son's baby occelaris in with her and she didn't fuss about it at all.

I had a single perc, then an occ. pair and now a single occ.
The single perc was so relaxed and easy, while the female occ. got to the point that she'd go after my hand whenever I put it in the tank; this was all in various nano tanks. Too early to tell with the lone occ, but in general, I kind of like the singles better b/c they're more laid-back, in my experience, and I've heard the same from others.
