I have a tank that measures 48x48x30. So it's basicaly a short cube. It has Euro-Bracing, but the over-flow allows me a spot to mount a WB. The over-flow is centered on the back wall. Will one WB be sufficient for the width of the tank, or will I be needing another?

Thanks,
Chris

It has to go on a side wall or it simply will not work. One should be sufficient but if you can't mount it on the side it isn't going to work.

Maybe I'm a bit slow. Here is a rough diagram of what I am trying to say. Are you saying this will not work? Please try to help me understand the issue? Sorry, just confused somewhere? This is the top view of course.

It would have to go in a lengthwise direction- so it has to be aimed down the 48" length to work.

I was wondering that myself, i have a room divider tank, rectangular and was wondering if that could be one of my options as well. Hopefully it can =), mine is 72x30x30

As long as it is aimed down the 72" length it will work. If you have eurobracing you just need to use the magnet holders.

My tank is 48x48. Are you saying that the 4 inches that the overflow takes up will stop the WB from operating? This is a cube. If that is the case I will need to order 2 magnet holders?

Ahh my bad, somehow I got the impression it was 48 by 30. It should work but in a tank that is so wide I think an extension unit might be necessary.

Roger,

Thank's for clearing that up. You had me concerned on so many different lvls! I'll test it out with the one on order, and if need be I certainly will order the extension. Thanks again.

Chris

definitely like the idea of saving money on the magnets or the back order on one. =) hanging on the overflow box that is.
