I'm not new to this Hobby of 25+ years. (Was going to post in Fish Disease Areas but few thread, so not sure)
But I am new to fish disease since starting new tank means new fish.
Took my risks in past without QT and got lucky (except once).
This time all fish going thru QT, all most made it fine except now.
The fish were Treated with PaziPro from the Start.
In a Nutshell. Got a Few Cariberryi Anthias.
4 out 5 were fine, but one Anthias was withdrawn after Day 1or2 of QT.
Today on Day 6 of QT the one Anthias Died.
Yesterday I noticed a Flash of red on his side.
This is what he looked like when I pulled him out dead.
The others are perfectly fine, but I worry since they were exposed and touched the fish that died.
They will not go into DT till I'm am confident things are ok.
I posted and someone said possibly "œUronema".....which would be a parasite.
But looking at this API Med Packet of Furan-2....Could be "œHemorrhagic Septicema"....which would be bacteria.
Should I just Wait and Watch for a few more weeks?
or start treating with something as a precaution?
The PaziPro is no longer in the QT, after Water Change and Carbon that I just started.
