One of my clowns is changing sex

My larger of the two clowns is doing the shimmy dance tonight. I thought they only did the shimmy if it is male. I was sure that the larger would be female or change to female. Well at least they are not tearing each other apart.

I wasn't sure about clowns, but this pair is really starting to grow on me.
