I just got it in the mail today off of ebay. I got it used and it was rilly dirty. I cleaned it up as best as I could. It's red sea Berlin triple by pass. I was testing it to se if it worked.

Looks good cleaned up. But your not gonna see it work right till its in saltwater.

I've had 2 of them in the past. They work OK. They are a bit hard to really get clean as they don't come apart as much as I would have liked. Mine ran outside the stand and both coraline and small calcareous critters would grow inside. The only way to clean it well was to soak it in vinegar, which I did about once a year. I ran it on a 75g mixed reef and it did the job I needed done until I went bigger.

I will try soaking it vinegar. The base is so dirty. I wish it came apart more. I just wanted to se if every thing worked on it.
