some of you anemone lovers might find her interesting. Its called Aiptasia mutabilis, temperate waters species, native to Adriatic and Mediterranean. It has some nasty stinging tentacles, but behaves well, unlike its tropical cousins

My clownies checked it out once and they'll never do it again :D

Im not sure jet, I'll enjoy it for some time thats for sure, look what it does and so and at the end i might return it into the sea.
those guys are bit too aggressive 4 my small reef fishes, thats why. Most of the mediterranean nems I bring home just burn stuff too much.

If you have anything from outside the Mediterranean in your tank, you probably shouldn't return the anemone to the wild.

why do you think so, because of accidental introducing alien potentially offensive species to the sea?

Exactly ;)

The mediterranean is already under attack from invasive species like a mutant strain of calerpa taxifolia. It doesn't take much to upset the natural balance of things. A microscopic organism from the caribbean may be able to cause catastrophic damage if released into the mediterranean. Once an animal, rock, or anything from the ocean is placed into a mixed reef tank, it should not be returned to the wild IMHO.
Cool critter you have there though.
