ahh ok
yeah Andrew, more like a disorganized chinese fire drill.
The company has a big deal about when and how to create a log in etc. And when I logged into their website the 2 gallon buckets for $59.99 color changing DI resin would not come up.
Sent them an email inquiring why the 2 gal was not listed as it was on posted price list. Figured maybe my account had a foul up or something. And this is what I recieved back.
Michael,
We no longer package our DI in buckets. The packaging was changed to
increase the shelf life of the DI. The price list that was forwarded to
your
club should have reflected this new packaging and the correct prices.
It is
quite possible that someone had an original copy of our promotion that
included the gallon sizes of DI and posted it on your clubs forum.
I have attached the current copy of the promotion. Let me know if you
have
any questions.
End of Their email.
Maybe I misread pricelist...maybe I needed to read each and every post on the sale. No matter.
A simple club specific coupon code issued to a club officer and then via our email roster or announced at a meeting and actually had the pricing correct would have been cut and dry. Maybe your experience was different Andrew but that was what occured during my transaction and the conditionality involved was more complex than it needed to be. Well, unless using the discount as an excuse to build a customer email database.
So yes Andrew I would think that a transaction like that would be of shared interest. I surely didn't think it would render me awarded a sarcastic ahh ok. But thanks for that if it makes you feel bubbly inside. I'm good with that.
