Can anyone please help? I have 2 questions. My first question is, I am not sure what are the most reputable websites to order livestock from so I was hoping to get some assistance. Any opinions would be gratly appreciated. Also, I have done a lot of research on the blue face and it seems to be a good tank mate in a fish only system. Anyone have an opinion on this fish? Thanks in advance!

liveaquaria.com...check out their diver's den section, updated daily...pacificislandaquatics.com, nyaquatic.com....

I love the mask that the blue face wears! :) Let us know if you get him. 210 gallons pending on the livestock already in the aquarium is a good size for a blue face :)

I have a 210g with a 50g sump. when I have researched them, it says they only need a 125+. Do you agree?

Liveaquaria is simply the best place to purchase fish. It actually does have the blueface angel on sale right now. Check it out.

Blueface needs twice the space than the 125g that some literatures state. Most of those literatures are old and their recommendations regarding tank sizes are often "pre-historic" and should not be relied on. Angelfish are not easy to care for, and blueface angel is one of the tougher angels as it does not have a good track record of acclimating well to captive life. However, the success rate has been higher in the last ten years due to better technology and understanding of marine fishes.

Please read the following article on keeping large angels. It explains many aspects (especially space requirement) of keeping a large angel.

To be honest with you, I do not think a 210g is big enough for a blueface angel to live its full life. Blueface angels reach a maximum of 15" in the wild, so expect it to hit at least 12" in captivity. I recommend a minimum of 8-foot, 240g for such a fish.

Live Aquaria is good but not perfect... they messed up on a few of my orders last yr. They really screwed up on a DD order and sent me a 7 1/2" PBT instead of the 4" one that I ordered. Sometimes even the WYSIWYG doesnt work. I would order from them again dispite the problems that I had.

Thanks to everyone for the reply's! After looking at them it looks like live aquaria wins the race. There are not a lot of online reviews for most of the other sites. Thanks again for the input!

Diver's Den = top notch. Awesome customer service.

Blue Zoo Aquatics is also pretty good.

I have had good experiences with LiveAquaria. Any problems I have had were taken care of immediately by customer service.

I have had a couple poor experiences from Blue Zoo Aquatics and will not purchase from them again.

I've had nothing but good experience with LiveAquaria (ordered over 15 times from them), quality of livestock is excellent and their customer services is A++

If it is not too late order a juvy, easier to get to eat. Don't forget the FW bath for twenty minutes and I got a fat one from NYAquatics.
