onyx and there best homes?

Whats the best home (nem type) to bring out the colors of an onyx clown?. tia

From what I have read and experienced, the two WORSE ones are BTA (( E. Quadricolor )) and an LTA (( M. doreensis )). When my SI Percs were hosted by my LTA they lost all their black. Switching to an S. Haddoni has brought back about 80% of their original black, and still (( albeit slowly )) regaining it back.

I would love to see some scientific evidence on Onyx percs losing their color in BTAs. I guess I'm lucky that I have a spawning pair of Onyx that host 2 different RBTAs and they haven't lost any color at all.

Mine were just with an LTA, while I don't have any scientific evidence, I do have pictures, which should be more then good enough.

This is strange because I dont seem to have a problem with my pair losing black in my bta's the female actually got darker over time, I'm just curious as to what would happen if I swapped out the bta ya know.

I have a pair of SI percs. I had a BTA and a Frogspawn in the tank with them. The female took the BTA and the male took the Frogspawn, but neither one would go into each other's host. They both started to lose their black, so I put the Frogspawn and the BTA in my other tank and my SI percs got their black back. So Euphyllia corals can cause the color loss also.
