Oolite live sand with aragonite problems

so i have 60lbs of aragonite dry sand and i added 10lbs of Oolite live sand to seed my sand....well i do anything in my tank and its a sand storm every time for 24 hours. what can i do to fix this? i know Oolite was a bad choice ...i learned my lesson lol . thanks in advance

What do you do in your tank? Your not supposed to swim in the tank...it's intended for fish only lol jk
When your working in your tank do you turn off your powerheads? Doing so will almost always create a sand storm.

I leave the power heads on. But just trying to flatten out the sand and clean up the tank and boom 24 hour sand storm

Live sand is usually almost as dirty as dry sand, so it needs to be washed with saltwater to remove the fines or you end up with a massive dust storm as you found out. If your tank is set up to use a filter sock use one but be sure to clean it out every few hours at first. If you can't use a sock can you add some filter media or floss somewhere in the system? Eventually over time the oolite will settle to the bottom of the sand bed as the larger grains of sand are pushed to the surface.

yea I'm running a sock right now and cleaning it constantly lol.
