open brain detached

My large open brain that has been going strong for 3 years has recently shrank and detached from its skeleton. I thought it had died, but recently found a small four headed polyp behind the rocks. Is there anyway to save it?

Mine came of its skeleton 6 Months ago.
I put it in a low flow tank hopeing it would grow another skeleton, But still nothing.

Wish I knew what to do, Im sick of an extra tank just for it.

I have heard of Cataphyllia Jardinei doing this as well, some people have success in a low flow area, many don't. If you can feed it, try maybe a piece of tupperware with holes over it so it stays undisturbed while feeding. Good luck, I hope it does well.
