Mine is on the sand, no way could it be on a rock, when completely open it is a massive 7-8 inches. On divers den and in internet sites do they measure the base or the fully extended fleshy animal? They are always dinky sizes like 2.5 inches for $80.

So one of my local fish stores had this brain. i saw it a few months ago and it did not look good at all. They did not want to reduce the 50.00 price for it so i left without getting it. Well yesterday i went back and it was still there. It still looked bad.(as you will see) I offered 25.00 and a much better home and they took the bait. I got he home and acclimated her and she even ate some mysis last night. Here she is

Hopefully with a little TLC she will get better.

what does it mean if the tentacles stay out all the time. It appears healthy, and eats well. I have had mine for about 8 months, and it keeps getting bigger. Should i reduce the flow, or change lighting. It is on the LR now.
