Open Invitation to All So. Ca. Reef Clubs

MASLAC is extending an invitation to all So. Ca. Reef Club Members

Thanks to the dilligent efforts of Gina, and follow-up by our Raffle
Coordinator Dennis. It looks like our December Party is going to
happen this year!

Gina has arranged for MASLAC to get a private room with an Ocean View
in Marina Del Rey for Saturday Dec 9th.

3 Entree Buffet is going to cost $30 per head.

While enjoying the view, ambience, and food. Tullio the president of
ARAD (Aquarium Research and Development) is going to be presenting on
new lighting technologies for Marine Aquariums. Including the latest
in LED lighting systems for Coral Tanks. ARAD does the research and
development for Ice Cap as well as several other companies in the
hobby.

After Tullio's presentation, Tullio is going to lead a member
workshop where everyone will get to build their own moonlight at a
nominal charge to SCMAS Members.


We need to know right away the number of people planning/hoping to
attend the December meeting to coordinate both with the restaurant,
and the moonlight kits.

Please respond to the Yahoo Group letting us know your intentions,
and how many friends/family members you expect to bring.

Financial arrangements will be made at a later date.

Again - $30 for dinner - Lil Cash for a moonlight - In Marina Del Rey
on
Saturday December 9th.

Does this mean that if you belong to any other So Cal club, you will not be charged. I've been descriminated against before but this is a whole new form of discrimination.

Just SCMAS members will be charged!! All others would be FREE! j/k.
I didn't compose the script, however at first we were only go to invite
SCMAS - than at a later date decide to invite all clubs. If you are a member
of another club other than MASLAC, there will be a nominal charge (to be determined at a later date) to build the moonlights. Dennis

That's on my wife's birthday, though, and I wouldn't be able to get away with doing something I like on her birthday... Yeah, you read that right.

Dennis, I'll pass the word to the other SCMAS members. I'm not quite sure if this date conflicts with our event. I thought MASLAC was no longer going to do Holiday parties because of conflicts with sponsors?

Who knows,I can barely remember last month much less prior years.In any event we all decided that we wanted to have a nice Xmas dinner this year and then thought it might be nice to open it up to other club members.You coming,Greg?
