Open late - Algea breakout

Anyone know of a store that is open late? I am in need of a water test and some clean-up crew. I have green hairy algae all over my tank.

Thanks.

Lawnmower Blenny would love to take care of it for you as long as you don't have any clams.

What are you using for top-off H2O?

See I think this might be my problem. I got all of my water from Liquid Kingdom. While he was a nice guy, given the look of his tanks I think my water might not be as pure as it needs to be.

Invest in a R/O DI filter system then you know how good your water is.

I currently also have an algae breakout, spent most of July on vacation and the tank was fed flake food only (and probably way to much).

I did enjoy my L-mower blenny, they have great personalities.

To bad he kept nipping at my clams.

When I first got into the hobby and before I had an RO/DI unit I use to get my ro water from LK and ended up with a hair algae out break. I always had good luck with aquamart though.

Just surf the used forums, there are always RO/DI units up there for sale and cheap.

Best money ever spent, now only if I could find a good salt mix?

Several years ago, I used to buy my water from "Water-To-Go" then, A new LFS opened near me. They had a real great price for RO/DI water so I tried to support them and began purchasing my water from "Mile High" LFS (Now out of business). Soon, my parimeters started going out of whack. I purchased a RO/DI system, Had it installed and with the TDS meter that came with the system I tested my Tap water. Then, some water from Mile High and to my surprise (PO'D) their water had a worse reading then my tap water. I think it probably was straight from the tap to the large tank and into my containers.

I gave up on them when I saw them trying to catch and bag a 4" Foxface Rabbit fish and the owner argued with me when I told him their spines were as toxic as a lion fish. He insisted the fish wasn't toxic.

Wonder why they went out of business.
