Open mouth

I have a big neon green carpet since Friday. My tank is a 400 gal established for 3 years. He stayed in the locale I first placed him but his mouth is partially open since Friday. He otherwise looks healthy and not stressed. My parameters are WNL and he's under MH +VHO. Is this a bad sign if he continues with an open mouth?

Their mouths will be open, but not gapping, from time to time. If it gets larger or always remains open then you should be concerned.
