Personally I would buy another one because I did the same thing with the DC Converter for my osmolator and never could open it up to totally dry it out and it never worked the same. Even though I dried it off it wouldn't always turn on like it was supposed to because of the moisture that was in there from me dropping it in the water. They used to sell just the DC Converter by itself. Good luck on that.
I drilled two holes into the casing and let it dry through those int he sun.
It is working fine...
DI water is much less likely to cause corrosion right? Regardless I will keep an eye on it, but if it fails it is not really a huge deal and I can relace it then.
