Opinion on fishlist?

In the near future I plan on setting up a 40g breeder lps dominated tank and was wondering what you all think on this fish list.
Added in this order:
-Firefish
-banggai cardinal
-canary fang blenny
-ocellaris clown
-six line wrasse
I'll be running a reef octopus Nwb 110 protein skimmer and 40-50 pounds of live rock. I plan on adding the fish maybe one every month to two months. I know six line wrasses can be jumpers so I plan on having a covered tank.
I was going to consider removing the cardinalfish, but if I can work it in I will.
Any advice is appreciated :wave:

I've heard that a lot so I plan to add the six line last. I've seen a lot of people house them without trouble. All depends on the fish I guess.

What happens if any of the prior fish don't make it after adding the six line. It wont be the last addition forever. It may not play well with new additions you may then want to add. Imo there are many other wrasses out there, so many posts about their aggression, I dont understand their allure... But thats just me.

I would also skip the six line. Take a look at the tonka's they are a very cool nano wrasse.

I guess skipping the six line would be in best interest for the tank. I've always like filamented flasher wrasses and I know they're peaceful, so I may go with one of those.

I agree along with the others here that you should skip on the six-line, so I'm glad to see that you have decided to. All the other fish you have picked out seem to be ok. I don't think you will have any problems with the other fish. I don't know much about filamented flasher wrasses, but I know there are plenty of wrasses to swap out the six-line for. A great reef safe wrasse the I would recommend is the yellow banded possum wrasse. Mine is very peaceful and is entertaining to watch. It will swim in one side of the rock work and come out of a hole on the opposite side. Although it does eat the food I put in, it constantly cruises over the rocks looking for a extra treat to go along with its normal meals.

I'm happy that I'm not going to get it too. I've just always wanted one and saw this as a possible chance. I'd rather get a different wrasse that I know will do well in my reef system. I've read up on flasher wrasses and they're very peaceful and safe for reefs. I think yellow banded possum wrasses look very nice.

A Possum Wrasse would do very well in a 40 breeder. I definitely recommend them for smaller tanks I have a Yellow Banded in my 28.
