Opinion on toadstool's Health

I am really concerned About my toadstool. I recently treated the tank for cyano.This toadstool has been closed for a couple of weeks since then . I know it is normal for them to shed but I have never witnessed the white patches like this. I am worried I might loose this one. Has any one seen one shed so severely. I am actually contemplating fragging one of the lobes in hope that if the mother colony dies at least I will have a chance at the frag.

Advice and thoughts would be appreciated.

I know this question has been asked a hundred times before but this shedding does not look right to me. The second pic is of it doing well.

I have had this issue also , mine went almos 3 months of looking like yours off and on , when it would get the loose skin on it i would make sure it was in the flow of my powerhead was enough to knock off the sheding. eventually it ajusted , and opened back up. They are really hardy ive been told as long as its firm to the touch , just leave it be and it will get better.
