Opinion on using 6500k daylight 300 watt PC

LED FULL SPECTRUM REEFER
I have found a version of Power Compact bulbs that have a day light output of 6500k, I have been using them for indoor plants with very good results.
They give off 300 watts, but only use 75-85 watts and they come in a flood light application, you can't look into them without really squinting your eyes.
You know where I'm going with this, of course a reef application.
I want to try these PC's along with an actinic bulb.
Any opinions about using the 6500k's.

Thanks, :D CaptiveReef

they would work fine....the power is good and the K rating is good also....were did you get them? I was looking for a good/cheap fuge/frag tank bulb. I'm using a couple of PC screw type 27 watt bulbs which produce 100 watts of power each with a 5500k rating.

Hey Mike,

I found them in Home Depot, they were $40.00. You have to purchase a wire to use them in a plug application. They are setup to be used outside as a flood light. Whats nice is that you get the bulb with the purchase. I'm going to use 2 along with XM 20,000K
bulbs.
