All my previous tanks have been pre-painted.
The one I just recently obtained is not painted and I cannot decide whether I should paint it black or should I paint it blue, and where do I obtain this paint to paint it.

In your own opinion, what looks better, black or blue and why?

Do you have any tips on painting the aquarium?

My tank is a 110 ga Perfecto Corner Flo tank.

My opinion is black. First off, just simply because from all the tanks I've viewed in person and online, I just like the black better. Secondly, unless you're going to be fanatical about scraping every square inch of glass in the tank, once coralline gets going I jut think that the open spots with black background blend in better than having coralline with blue spots. But, that's JMHO.

I just used spray paint from wallymart to do the back of my tanks.

blue or black doesnt matter when it is covered in coraline algea

blue or black ---- blue get the stick on stick from wicked sticker

I agree - black. I've had good luck with a plain old can of rustoleum. I use those cheap foam brushes to apply - $2 for a whole pack of them at Lowes. Less messy than spray paint, especially if you're painting indoors. Plan on 2 coats.

Pogona - you must also raise beardies :)

I used to breed Pogona Vitticeps and the very unique Furcifer Pardalis, I have since quit doing so because of the amount of hatred towards each other in that hobby. A person breeding the same would slander another person even though they didn't know them from Adam. I got tired of it and all the name calling and decided to move to a different hobby. The people in that hobby will automatically make conclusions even though they have only heard one side of the story and will drag your name through the mud based on hear say. So, I decided to focus only on reefing, the people are much more friendlier and are more willing to help.

So, if anybody here has "ANY" questions about Bearded Dragons or Panther Chameleons, please don't be afraid to ask me, I bred for quite a number of years.

I also have decided to go with black. I will shortly will be posting a progress thread of my buildup.
