I recently received an asm g-3, but am now wondering about the following "sump 150 combo". I wouldn't use the bioballs, but I am wondering your opinion. I could get the whole combo, including pump and skimmer (for what its worth is the big question) for 300. What would you do? I am a sump novice, and am considering that the combo is made by the manufacturer of the tank I am picking up wednesday. HELP! please.

yah, I think that is what I am leaning toward, which will make it easy in a way, seeing as I bought one already.LOL. Just getting the jitters. I was just looking at the G-3 and hoping all the parts are there. I believe a 29 gallon will fit under the cabinet.

Yes, I believe all the parts are there. So, I have the Sedra 5000 that goes with it. Now, I will need a return pump, yes? Any suggestions on brand? GPH?

Supreme are generally inexpensive, fairly well built, and can be used submerged or inline.

How many gph are you looking to flow through your system
Is your sump drilled, are you looking for an inline or a submersible?

Darn darn darn
various circumstances, you know how that is, arose, and I am doing a total 180 and putting that tank on hold for now. Sigh.
