I'll go there... many recommendations for when running ULNS that your Alk should be kept between 6.5 - 8.0 or "tip burn" is possible. I'm 70 days into Zeovit and loving it. Down the road, I will probably try swapping the Zeolites for pellets...

Bill - didn't I see a fuge in your sump? Did you remove that?

Brett
You Did, But it is used more to house my Ca Rx and Skimmer than anything else. My Cheato has stopped growing a while back and I just have some extra live rock in there. Plus there is a Yellow tail Damsel living down there and I have grown to like him. LOL
My EB Reactor feeds directly into my skimmer pump intake and this helps to keep my PH higher than if i let in run into the sump. My Ca Rx does the same with the Effluant right into the skimmer and this blows off excess Co2.

Any reason why?

Yea, that's what I was asking. i keep the ALK at 8, but I thought about getting it to 9.5 or so. I guess I will keep it that way.

Are you using Salifert to test your Alk?

The interesting thing I have noticed on the Zeovit forum is absolutely no mention of PH but a lot stressing on the importance of stable and NSW Alk. They don't seem to measure or care about PH.

I use Hanna ALK checker, I am terrible at telling the color change. lol
Salifert is about 0.5 to 1DKH higher than Hanna from what I can tell.

For the longest time my PH was around 8.1, ALK was actually around 6.5-7.5
