opinions on good skimmer

Hey everyone,
I'm looking to get a new skimmer for my tank.
I have a 30 gallon fowlr with a 20 gallon sump.
I currently have a coralife super skimmer which i'm not happy with. It requires constant adjusting, and is prone to over flowing.
I'm not worried too much about price, I already have one cheap skimmer i'm not happy with, no point in getting another.
I have been looking at the Aqua C ev120
Anyone have any experience with this skimmer, or other recomendations?

I use a ASM Skimmer. The "BEST" Skimmer I have ever bought/Used. I have it on my 120 gal reef tank and works AWSOME. I have the Super Skimmer on my 150 gal. eel tank and I must agree with you, I am not happy with the performance of the skimmer. Before I bought it I checked out the design and it seem to be a good design, well made, 2 bad it works nothing like I thought it would. Anyway, check out ASM skimmers. Same design as a Euro Reef at a much more affordable price.;) Here is a pic of my Reef tank with using the ASM. The ASM pulls ALOT of junk out of my water. My tank has been set up for about a year now. The second pic is of my sump with the skimmer. I just cleaned out the cup, thats way there is no nasty stuff in there yet. ;)

octopus/aquaeuro are as good or better than ASMs performance wise, but they are also better built and cheaper:)

I would use the smallest of euro-reef, The RS-80. You are not going to be worried about. It sure that works. Is bigger than you need but you have enough room in your sump.

The smallest euroreef the rs80 is not as good as the octopus nw150, or the aquaeuro classic 135, and it costs more. Not a good buy.
The aquaeuro and rs80 are probably the same or close in performance.

i cant disagree with the deltec, but thats at the very least $300 to get in the door, and thats a hang on the back skimmer. the cheapest in supm skimmer is over $600. now i know he said money is of no concern, but why spend the 600 on 1 deltec instead of 2 ae classic 400's or 2 recirc 265's. the deltec will not pull more than 2 of either of these skimmers would. even if you have the money to spend, i dont see wasting it.
now i say aquaeuro because for the money they cant be beat as far as i've seen. i also have heard really good things about the tunze skimmers.
i always liked tunze anyway. they say they are completely silent, they are small, and perferm exceptionally well. they are expensive, but not outrageous. and if you want to be able to play football with your skimmer and it still perform well, get the h&s
