Happy with the mazarra units. There were some kinks along the way, but everything's been smoothed out now, the customer service has been great. The spread is good, the color is fantastic (and adjustable) and there aren't too many competitors in the lumens-per-watt department.

You'll need 2 kessil's. I started with 1 350W on my 57g (same dimensions, but 21" in h) and moved to two. So did Jess.

I too have 1 Kessil a350 on my 40 Breeder (36x18x16).

The Kessil is hung about 13" above the water level and I get a spread of 24" - 30". Since I am only stockingLPS I should be fine.

I currently have just 1 kessil 150 as a spit light on my 72g bow front. With t5 across in the hood. I really like the look of the kessil. Shimmer is great and colors really pop on my zoas. I will be upgrading to the kessil 350w through Jess at DC. I always bring cash . Doing this (cash) does 2 things. Benifits a small retail over the use of a debit or crwdit card. And with Jess , I always have walked out with a good deal when using cash.

Also I like to buy local, and kessil are made local in the bay area.

I have a evergrow (D120) 55x3 watt on my frag tank. straight from china for $175. Have had it for about a month and really like it. Came from a 150watt MH and am running this fixture At 35% and everything so far loves it. Slimer, monti and birdsnest are growing good with it.
