Opinions on sump/ skimmer

Sorry to repost ALMOST the same question I asked two weeks ago BUT would this be a good setup for a 75 gallon ?
Trigger systems ruby 30" sump with a reef octopus classic 110 sss 5" space saving skimmer.
This is my first tank ever and I'm going with the general consensus that it doesn't pay to skimp on these items but I want to make sure that I am properly matching things up so everything works efficiently.

Depends on the Bio load you want to have in your tank. For a normal stocked tank that skimmer isn't big enough for your set up. Also I would over size the skimmer a bit. How much water will you have total?

As far as the sump I would say that's a waste of money. I'd go with a 40 breeder (petco $/gal sale) $40. Have a glass shop cut baffles for you $30. Would cost you $75 or $80 to make that sump. All your doing is paying a lot of money for a glorified tank.

Not looking to heavily stock the tank, maybe 12- 15 fish with some corals.
As far as the sump, I hear what you're saying but I have no idea what I'm doing here so I'm probably better off just buying a factory made sump.

I'm pretty sure 12-15 fish in a 75 is considered heavy bio load.
