Opinions please

Hi there I was wondering if I could get some constructive criticism or opinions on my photo taking / editing skills.
I have just began taking pictures and am still trying to figure out the best way to use it.
I am using the FujiFilm A920 bought from Walmart for $110

Not bad for a $100 camera. I don't know the first thing about photography, but pretty nice anyways.

are you able to modify the sutterspeed? or change to "sports" mode? That will help you take sharper images.

Unfortunently I can't adjust the shutter speed. I can only adjust the white level and exp compensation. These can only be adjusted while the camera is in manual mode. If I were to switch off of manual and go to a sports mode I would lose control of these extra options and be on a "auto" setting. Should I give this a shot? or buy a better camera lol.

Wait you have manual mode but can't change your shutter speed? Something is wrong with that statement...It is true you can't change your shutter speed, but I am surprised it is called "manual" mode?

I would try the sports mode...your main problem is that you are trying to go off road in a 2WD automatic car. It drives fine on the road, aka kids at the park, but you need to input some commands and don't have the option.
