I have 3 lumenarc mini reflectors that are going above my 6 foot long, 125 gallon tank. I was planning on using a 400 watt 10k bulb above the middle of the tank, and a 250 watt 20k bulb above the right and left sides. The question I have is.... Will that look good?

I think it will look kinda odd. I use 10K and 12K on my 100G. You can see the different. One is white and one is blue. 400W 10K will be really white. If you are using 400W, try Radium bulb. It's a lot brighter than 250W 10K.

I was going to use the 20k bulb to try and get the blue I get from my current actinics without setting up actinics. Is that a bad Idea? Or should I go 10k all the way around?

I would think, have mis-matched blubs would look odd.
Would your 10k lamp cover the whole tank?
or you going for very blue on the ends?

Unless, you graded them from one side of the tank.
(Blue - Blue-ish - White)

So, should I go with the same K across the tank? What about using the 400 watt? Should I just use 3 250watt?

How deep would a tank have to be to warrant using 400 watt bulbs?
Just measured my tank it is 23" deep.
