optimal salinity and temp

what is the optimal salinity level and temp for a FO tank w no live rock/

my tank flux temps from 76 to 80 depending on time of day, and has a salinity of 1.023, and fish are thriving...

If anyone else is running a different salinity/temp. please post it.

I would say minimum of 1.021. I keep mine at 1.023 and try to keep temp around 78-80. I am in the process of raising my sg to 1.026 to see if that effects the skimmers efficiency.

Personally, I do 1.025 @ 80F, though temp will fluctuate. I don't have a chiller or a heater, but do keep the thermostat relatively consistent.

1.021 - 1.023 salinity

Sounds goods to me.

I like to aim for 1.023 to 1.024. My inverts don't like it to get much below that.

Temp 78-82 most of the time.
