Options for Manjos/Aiptisa Control??

So like to title says, I am looking for options to rid my tank of nuciance manjos/aiptisa. I have tried Kalk Paste, Joes Juice, Racoon Butterfly all with the same results. It keeps comming back.

I think the the Raccoon was the best untill he ot sucked up too a power head intake over night and died.

But with all Butterflys they are hit or miss with the ating of the aiptisa. I also run a mixed reef that is about 50% SPS 25% Zoo's 25% LPS (Acans). So I am afarid of adding something that will attack these.

So what are my options for this without pulling all my rock and cooking it? Thanks Tim

my single peppermint took care of a minor aiptasia problem within a week.... saw one come back since then but I expect it to be gone within a few days

interesting about majanos
had one for months until tried to cut it out of the tank (once i realized it was a pest... then started to spread (originally told it was an 'anemome' on the rock by lfs - that since has gone out of business)

since learning about them here on rc
have been surprised by the number of experienced people reporting on this who have had to (or considering it) completely take down their 'systems' to cook the rock ETC ETC ETC = due to the majano infestation -

someone should put this IN BOLD LETTERS for all the NEWBIES to LOOK OUT FOR... before they invest thousands in setting up a reef only to be outdone by pests that (can be) nearly impossible to eradicate (i also got flatworms from adding chaeto from lfs w/o first quaranting it! = beginners luck!! lol)

i have only had 2 or 3 more show up in my tank since removing the original one but i am preparing for the worst - i used a hammer and chisel to remove the ones i had off the LR - to be sure to get them completely off

i wish you luck in getting this problem under control in your system!

(does anyone have any pics of spreading or juvenile 'majanos' that they could share - as i am on a very vigilante hunt trying to remove LR from the system that might have these pests on it)

I do not consider my self a newbie when it comes to this, It just came in on rock that was cooked, but not cooked al the way. So I am not a 100% cooking is the only way to rid the tank of it. I also had picked up one medium sized zoo colonie that had a few on it, and it seem to be spreading from there. Thanks for the help TIm
