I bought a wavebox and a wavebox extension.. and am now a bit sorry that I didnt get 2 wave boxes ... I have 2 large tanks... and one box seemed to do very well.. .wanted to put the extension in another tank.. but dont have a second controller... is it possible to just get the controller.. and what will it cost....also have a 7094 controller and 2 6100 streams that I wanted to run with my wavebox or boxes... I actually have an overflow on each end of the tank in the center.. and on the one end.. I have a wavebox on each side of the overflow... I dont think i can fit a 6100 on that side unless I use the mag holders and mount them below the waveboxes or on the overflow itself...is it as beneficial to run both the 6100s on the opposite side of the tank.. or should I use the mags to hold it.. and also wanted to see if i could get instructions on what the best way to setup the 7094 with the waveboxes... I am sorry about the book.. tried to figure these out reading posts.. but was a bit confused.. and by the way... these products are amazing.. dont regret spending the money on the streams or the waveboxes.. worth every penny...

Thanks Ryan. I will look into getting a seperate controller for you. It was no planned to sell it seperately but obviously the need for it as a spare part will come up. What you could do is use tide mode and set up the waveboxe on the first socket and the 6100's on the 2 and 4th sockets on the opposite end of the aquarium, run the wavebox for 3-6 hours and then the 6100's will take over for the same time period. This will suspend the detritus and then the surge should sweep it into the overflows, it should work fine, you can play with the timing to see what works best for you, 6 hours is the natural tide interval so it tends to be the most realistic and you can imagine at low tide in a lagoon their would only be a gentle wave motion and at high tide the full ocean current would be present

what will i need to tie the 2 waveboxes to the controller... it looks if i am not completly confused that I will need 2 of the Y Cables in order to make this work right.. let me know if I will need something else.. and if you could give me the part #'s that would really help..

thanks for all the help

The controller allows you to connect two waveboxes instead of connecting to the multicontroller, to do this you open the controller and switch the jumpers to synchron for both on one end or inverse for one on each end. For using with the multicontroller you add the branch adapter and leave the second cable free for the multicontroller keeping the jumper in extern mode.
