ORA frags - do you remove them from the plug?

With a sharp blade, like most utility knives, the encrust AND frab can be easily pulled off. Just carefully skin it with knife, ive had great success getting>90% of encrust and plug.

use a really small screwdriver and skin it from the base, usually it pops right off the plug base and crust intact

+1 on BrassMonkey advice

Although I don't use a vise (channel locks work well for me) I have found the application of good pressure to result in a clean pop off more times than not.

Why doesn't ORA, or most other frag sellers, make frag plugs out of more natural material that people wouldn't mind having in there tanks and that are not so unsightly that everyone feels they must remove them?

I would think it comes down to $$$ and effort. JMO....:fun2:
