Glen why did you put an ora thoughts in my head. I want to try to start a group buy with John at your reef. Depending on interest we can make it happen. Send me a pm or put a message here if your inteerested. I will spear head the group buy.
 
Thanks Hugo. I am still not sure when I will "pull the trigger" with the ORA order and I don't want to pressure anyone in ordering corals online. I am somewhat more comfortable buying it all on my own. I told John that I am always willing to help him out and give him my business whether it is for ORA corals or not but at this time I most likely will go with a different lfs to do the ORA order(s). I am still recovering from the 2 mp60s that I purchased this month. The earliest I will be able to splurge on high end corals will be August 31st. We are not really that far from that date but the new iphone 5 is supposed to be out sometime in September too and both my wife and i are drooling to upgrade. John said he is giving me 20% off on the ORA corals but I know I can get them a lot cheaper through another source that I cannot mention. Cheap enough to the point that I can order every single type of acros and other sps corals all in one splurge. However, the only problem with ORA is that they do not make every single coral available in one order. I believe they list their prices and coral availability monthly or weekly and they limit you on the quantity of the frag that you want. This means that I would have to order more than once to get their complete collection of sps corals. My tank is doing so good right now that I am not afraid to buy any high end corals out there. I am just waiting for the right time to buy the corals. Glenn
 
I'd be interested in knowing what they have available. I'd probably buy a piece or two depending on availability. A lot of their stuff falls into the category of "green acro," and I personally don't have a low nutrient system for pearlberry. It just turns green on me.

No worries Glen.

John is the one that we would be going through for the order. Once I can get him a list he will get a price list and then see what discounts we can get. So far I have a few pm's and the post on here for people that want to get some stuff. The biggest thing was to piggy back off of his order to minimize shipping plus have a place to store the corals that were delivered. The other plus is we all know John systems are pretty established. I look forward to trying to get this going. I believe the only thing John would want is a small deposit on the items we are ordering. Well lets see how this rolls.
 
I have the list at home. I will post the corals later without the price and my source if you would like. As I recall, there were only 5 regular ora acros but a lot of the MIMF sps in the list. It is no where near the list of corals that I want to purchase.

John has a list and i will post. But i think posting a list wont work as people want to look online for the coral.
 
There were a lot of corals on orafarms.com that I really like but is not included in the list and that is another reason why I wanted to wait. I actually think John has frags that I want to buy before I get ORA corals.
 
Hugo i would like Johns list. I am down for A few and piggu back this order. I can shoot who ever a deposit or send one to John. I want a Chips and Joe the coral and Purple Stylo for sure.
 
I see 7 I need to replace out of 17
Last i heard their Pearlberry was not doing so good note: not on the list.

Haha Paul I hear yah! We shall blame the red sea coral pro for that misfortune. That is why I stick to tried and true reef crystals. You should check out my tank. You are probably right about the curse of the purple coralline algae. I scraped quit a bit yesterday. I swear I can put new dry rock in the tank and it will be covered in coralline within a week!

I never say "I told you so" !
H2 Ocean Pro here and yes since back on Reef Crystals everything is doing great and coming back.
Even the dead corals from the system I took over 6 months ago even the Pink Boobies is pink again lol
