ORA mandarins?

I was talking to my LFS owner (he's the good kind, not the a-hole kind, lol) and he said they would be around $60. A little pricey, especially since I can get on for $15. But for a CB/eating prepared foods it's a steal! I'm definitely going to be getting one...or two.

I would love to know what the name of this LFS! sorry for the thread jack:rolleyes:

$50-$60 dollars sounds about right. I agree thats a steal for a fish that has a much better chance than playing roulette with a wild caught one which could be much pricier in the long run if you think about it. I'm sure like anything else, as time goes by, they will come down in price and tank raised will be cheaper than wild caught.

Its just a guess, I have no idea, if like most things the first will probably be way more $$$ than the rest.

I would assume one of the goals from ORA has to be to stop/slow the wild caught ones from being caught, and selling them for 100+ will not change a thing. So, I can't see it being that much when they are in full release.

Unfortunately, even some of the CB ones will not fare well in some of the tanks they are put into due to their high metabolism and the need for multiple feedings per day. However, if they will eat pellets then the success rate should definitely increase over the wild caught counterparts.
