Ora Trip Cancelled

That's alot of notice .... surprised they(ORA) didn't cancel the morning of the trip - while people were already on their way up there.

These kind of decisions & management leaves a rather bad tastes in peoples mouths - and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way about ORA. If an event is planned and you have to cancel it, make sure you give everybody the respect & cancel it with plenty of time to spare for people.

As interesting as a trip to ORA would be for everybody, I personally will vote against visiting ORA in the future for our local club should it ever be brought up.
Kind of like Eric Borneman made himself unwelcome by many in the O-R-C-A club by canceling last minute for the SRC 2007 event leaving event planners hanging & trying to scramble to fill a void.

(To clarify - I am NOT speaking of FMAS, I'm speaking of O R A.)

LOL....I believe if you read the other thread about this trip, you'll see it was cancelled at the request of ORA. So FMAS would have no control over what ORA decides, or when it decides it for whatever reason.

Well I am sorry for those people who were going this weekend I hope we can reschedule. I will be out of town this weekend and thus would have missed the trip and I was looking forward to it ever since it was announced as a possibility. I hope the club can reschedule it for the future.
