Orange Acro?

re: orange Acropora

re: orange Acropora

they exist- I've seen one.

It wasn't photoshopped. It was wild and living on a reef. I've never seen an orange Acropora in captivity but I'm sure they're out there. Extremely rare, however.

The only oranges I've seen are just coralites..like the halloween milli or the rommel rainbow acro. I can't think of a completely orange acro. Would love to see one!!!!

Not my pic...

I have an orange bodied milli with whitish polyps.. Not faded orange, not brownish orange but orange as in sunkist orange... :)
Is a decent size frag I picked up bleached out at an LFS about a month ago and has colored up nicely, its originally from FISH HEADS in cali?.. I'll have to see if I can get a pic of it tomorrow.

the Acro I was referring to was not a "mille" and it was truly totally orange- not bleached at all. I should have saved that picture but I didn't.

Under the right light and perhaps under the right adult beverage, this one's kinda, sorta orange. Closest I've ever seen anyway. But, being a milli, it well may morph itself into any one of a dozen other colors a week from now.

I was looking at my orange digi, orange plating, my setosa is orangish in lower light, orange rics, orange zoa, and wondering why I can't have a couple nice orange acros? I now remember seeing the sunset mille before, isn't that an atlantis coral; my other would tell me that coral would add another wonderful shade of brown to my tank?

Ahh I hate that, my parents were over a couple weeks ago and my mom said that this pink lemonade was "brown"

As far as orange Acros go, I've never seen a true orange acro...but I'd like to. However, the Sunset Millie in Ians picture is pretty orange under all the green polyps

I have an acro that looks orange right now.... Only because it is changing color. I had it in my tank in Columbus while I was in DC for 6 months. Ihad someone doing water changes and nothing else. Now that I got it back, it's starting to color up and it looks orange right now. It's supposed to be a blue tipped acro so I doubt it will stay orange for long.

What's your point? Its Halloween season dude. This is a place where people have fun and share pictures. This thread is dead; it has nothing to do with the other. You must have too much time on your hands. Post a photo or get off my threads!

Good try iap. I'd agree as my only oranges are sunset monti, orange setosa (really bright but slow grower), and orange digita. Lets see some pics for us nonbelievers?!
