They do interesting things such as waffle down into the sand with only their eyes showing. They hunt (copepods I assume) but also like hikari mysis. I'll see how they feel about the other foods I feed.
I had a pair of them in a 125g back in 2005. Really cool fish. However, the pair would never touch frozen or prepared food. Have not tried them since...
I haven't kept them, but I believe they are closely related to the Japanese Dragonet. Awesome find BTW, keep us updated with what your successful keeping of these fish.
That is what I thought they were as well but Live Aquaria said differently. I used to photograph finger dragonets in the wild and had an affinity to their behavior.
