Does anybody have any experience with a Chaetodon kleini, commonly called an Orange Butterflyfish? According to all the info I can find on this species, it is a hardy and easy fish to care for that requires a minimum 50- 55 gal aquarium. And all the info I can find say that the only corals it is prone eat are leathers and some softies. Can anbody confirm this info? Does this fish actually leave SPS and LPS alone?

very easy to take care of. Eat right away and stay on the smaller size. Im not sure on the coral part though. I would assume it acts like the rest of the butterflies...

Depends where it's from apparently. Very variable in diet. Mine doesn't touch sps or brains (I tinhk) but I had to remove him when he started nipping zo's and gsp's.
Nice hardy fish though. Mine grew pretty quickly and was more robust in behaviour than I expected. Got hime circa an inch in diameter, I inthk they are collected as very small fry and sold at that size as I see loads at that size in one go.

+1 to not being reef safe. ate the polops right off an orange cap i had and the birdsnest. I also read it would also pick at softies but hasn't looked twice at the kenya tree
