Orange cloudy water!!!! PLEASE HELP!

High nitrates aren't bad, it won't do much to most inhabitants of the tank. Question for you is if you use gfo? If so do you rinse before putting in the sump or reactor?

I have not actually put gfo in my reactor in a while but when I replace the stuff in my reactor I let it run into a bucket for like a min to get the fines out!
