Orange Coraline

I've just recently started seeing orange coraline growing on my rocks i was just wondering if orange coraline is actually possible.

Depends on the rock and where it came from, my rock is tatoka rock and came in with red, orange, and a few other colors but after a year in my tank it is all the purplish colored coraline.

Orange coralline is usually new growth is it orange under the blue lights or under the white lights too?

When I scrape coralline or my urchin attacks it glows orange under the actinic leds

Coralline algae is really cool stuff as it can go through a color change process like Shifty said. I've seen it go from yellow to lime green to orange to red to purple. But in the end it will become purple. I'm letting it grow on the back of my tank and still thinking about leaving it on the sides or not.

So in the meantime sit back and enjoy natures color show.
