If I were you I'd stop dosing for a few days and keep a close eye on the Alk. If you decide to resume, then go half your usual dose of even lower - and carry out Alk tests at least twice a day to see for yourself how Vodka dosing affects Alkalinity.

I'm not sure how I understand how vodka can affect alkalinity? I'm sorry, but i've been dosing vodka for over a year and I find this statement to be untrue. I would however like read some info and be proved wrong.

No they will kill each other. Plus is like 1 in 1000 that will eat those nudis. Myabe stop feeding your tank for a week and the wrasse will start looking for stuff to eat and maybe eat your nudis.

Not entirely true. They will go after other montiporas, they won't touch anything else. They love caps, and your cap it's probably already infested underneath.

That's what I meant - sorry I didn't clarify (figured Montipora-eating was specific enough). I just meant the nudis would go after other montiporas to eat if they hadn't already (not just any coral in general). Thanks for clarifying my comment. Obviously I need my coffee in the mornings!

I kind of figured that you meant that, but wanted to clarify it.
