Orange Shoulder Tang

First time I've seen one at Fuji's today. They look great.

I'm sort of responsible for that. I was in their last week and I was telling Fuj how great mine is at eating detritus and algae and what not. He said he was going to order one, I told Jason he had some and Jason has one on hold too. That's a great fish.

I got another emperor and it seems like the one i had before was never in good health compared to this one. I don't think it was the cupramine that killed the old one. I also got a little tiny unicorn tang, I'll probably make a vid tom. and post it.

Yeah mine is the boos of the tank, constantly ina struggle with the purple tang, but it's mostly the purples aggression. It is extremely peaceful for a large tang though.

you can get the small ones for pretty cheap, i see them occasionally online, but I never see the big ones for sale, I don't know if I ever have.

Yeah I'm going by their today as well. I'm hoping to pickup a couple of fish today. I know if you order them online, you can get them for like 20-25$. I'm sure it wont be as cheap at fujis, but your paying for something you can see.

I keep loosing orange shoulders. I have never had one longer then 2weeks and I dont know why???

Aquashine are you getting them all from the same place? are they getting them all from the same supplier? Could be a supply line problem if so.

Also how old is your tank, how big is your tank and do you have other tangs?

I have got them from many places...they all get really really skinny and just waste away

Had my orange shoulder a month now. Mine reverted back to the yellow juvi colors. He was gray at fuji's.

He will be that way for a while jason, mine still has yellow shades, and he is around 9 inches now.
