orange sponge

My husband just bought me an orange sponge. My question is how do I or can I Loctite it to a rock and how without exposing it to air?

Try tying the sponge to a rock with butcher rope. You place the sponge in the bag with water from the bucket it was in during acclimation and place the bag fully submerged up side down in the tank and take out the sponge and grab the bag and take it out to avoid to much water in the tank..
