Orange spotted sand goby help

I have an orange spotted sand sifting goby in qt that was fine for a couple days and now has a red spot right in the middle like something is wrong with his guts. I had a rock to help cycle the qt and think maybe he got bruised by it. He still eats some but acts like hes hurt. I have him in hypo right now. Can gobys handle the hypo? The fire fish in there with him seems fine. Water params are good and I have done this plenty of times. Salinity 1.008 temp 79. nitrite0 nitrate .5 ph 8.0 alk 4 meq ammonia 0

Possibly an internal injury or uronema. A pic would really help. There's no reason to do all those tests in a QT. Ammonia, temp, SG & PH are all you need . The other stuff doesn't affect SW fish---at least at any level you'll reach in a QT.

May have bruised itself. My yellow coris wrasse fought with his reflection sometimes for several months & would have red spots from hitting the rock. I covered that end of the tank for a couple months until he figured it out & no more red spots.
